Senior Internship
Inside Swoop In 90
University of North Florida, Jacksonville
During the summer of 2022, I participated in an internship with Inside Swoop in 90. Inside Swoop in 90 is the Univeristy of North Florida's student run mini-news segment. The position allows the use of The Associated Press services on current events to be published on the university's media platforms. As an intern, I wrote current event segments, recording them in our green-screen studio, and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro to publish on our media platforms.
This internship gave me hands-on experience and an environment to grow. My writing has become more short and concise, and neutral. This opportunity was the perfect way to spend my summer and I hope to be able to put it to use soon. Check out my CONTACT page to discuss work opportunities.

As I continue through college, I am a part-time server at The Local. The Local offers a unique twist on healthy foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

As a server who comes into contact with people everyday, I take pride in priortizing personal connection and communication. My team helps me to grow this skill by putting people first and keeping a positive environment.

I am in my senior year at the University of North Florida where I am studying to get my bachelors in communication. My focus is in news broadcast.

I am also minoring in criminology and psychology. Along with my love for news, I find it interesting to learn about the mind of humans and how it connects to criminology. My goal is to use all my interests and knowledge to further the news community in how events and stories get told and the effect it has.

During my high school years, I took part in the Television Production Academy that was available at Wesley Chapel High School. As the only school in the district to offer this program, I attended the academy for 3 years and developed my love for script writing and filming. I quickly grew to love the news side of production.
